Damn, no one talking about dis shiet?

Nintendo probably didn't want their IPs associated with such a low-tier tourney.

I spent about 2 hours today watching Smash.

The commentators even thanked Nintendo for not shutting down the tournament.  :rock

Day 1 of SF4 was nuts. Daigo & Infiltration are in losers bracket (and they'll be facing each other on Sunday, so one of them is about to get eliminated). Infiltration also had to eliminate Laugh (close friend & training partner) and they were clearly not happy about that. :lol :'(

Here is the top 8 for Street Fighter 4 that will be played on Sunday. All matches are best of out five.

Winners
Xian(Gen) vs Sako(Evil Ryu, Ibuki)
PR Rog(Balrog, Fei Long) vs Tokido(Akuma)

Losers
Daigo(Ryu) vs Infiltration (Akuma)
Gamerbee(Adon) vs Haitani(Makoto)

Haitani supposedly played Rufus off-stream, but didn't want to disappoint those who wanted to see Makoto so I assume he'll keep that up for the duration.

Isn't Evo seeding kind of unfair to international players that don't get to participate in all the US seed point tourneys?

Anyways, it's a shame when two big international competitors KO eachother while other local players get relatively easier matchups in the brackets.

Screw that, go for broke. You're in the losers bracket so you should be attempting to not get eliminated, you know?

Holy shit, that last Wong vs. ChrisG UMvC3 was probably one of the best tournament series I've ever seen.  I can't believe he pulled that off!

Heh, here's a good quote someone on SA said:

Quote
Change his name to Jesus Wong, cuz that man can rise from the grave.

Wong didn't win it, but his climb back to the top was amazing and was the best part of Marvel, easily.  Crazy shit!

Once again I doubt I'm gonna be able to see the end of SSF4.  It's already 11 PM.

Wong pulled off so many miracle comebacks in the tournament, it's unreal.  Almost did it again in the end, but I guess it has to run out eventually.  Still an amazing tournament.

Yep, Marvel was pretty amazing this year. But Zero making me mad salty with all the Zeros I have to deal with when I play all the time.

Goddamn what a great event this year, so many epic matches.  You can really see how the SF4 community has stepped up their game too, last year Infiltration just murdered everyone but almost all of the matches this year were close and exciting.

I liked this melee battle of shiek vs jigglypuff.  42-58 i think.

The next one was good too.

Never heard anything bad said about it, but there's not much of a community that's gonna be centered around old PS1 games.
