I'm pretty sure you called me a bitch and went kinda ballistic because I jokingly said I was murdering you in the digital realm. So then I really did murder you in the digital realm.

That may have been on WYL or whatever shit forum that was though.

Some folks here are too smart to be wasting all their time on it, yet keep after it every damn day.  Not naming names, but if I did I'd name Cowbell.
I haven't been here for very long (and haven't lurked for much longer), but I would also mention The Experiment. Not for being involved in GAF the way Devo still is, but for saying the same thing about GAF and GAFers, no GAFfots, over and over and over, like he's an old war vet working through trauma for the rest of his life by telling the same stories.

I used to hate you so much, Lennedsay, and I think it had to do with how well you got along with most of the guys here. My teenager brain couldn't comprehend the idea of a woman actually getting along with men, so I thought you were just posing to collect simps :lol

It's safe to say I've done a lot of growing up now and don't have a problem with anyone here. Life's too short to argue about nerd shit.

sucks for anyone relatively new here, because they will never know the majestic greatness that was tvc. the bore lost a part of its soul forever the day he left :(

a terrible, hideous part of its soul, but a part nonetheless

Humor-wise, Twitter really encourages people to go for the standalone, killer one-liner.  Which is great if you're into that, but for me reading a stream of zingers would be Tosh.0 style GLIB OVERLOAD.

I just don't see the diff between facebook and twitter. Different venues, and different ways to express yourself. Have no clue why anyone would wanna go after twitter for try hard humor when facebook is full of the same stuff, but typically with pictures instead of words. No one on my twitter goes for quick, vapid retweets.

Himu: Sure, Hallmark card life lessons and Jay Leno gags will always have an audience.  This stuff would be passed around by chain email if we didn't have other outlets for it.  But the nature of Twitter (character limit, follower count, Tweets being publicly visible) makes it especially suited for that style of content.

Which isn't to say Twitter's pointless (as a sports/politics nerd, getting the instant feedback on events from certain pundits is always nice), but it will always foster a certain type of humor (which can be done well or poorly but either way just isn't my cup of tea).

I generally like The Biz, but he strikes as someone who may, you know, not actually have a soul.  Or something.

Also, my throwaway, good timing sense of humor is perfect for twitter, but I'm lazy and can't be arsed into posting on it.

This is my problem, I don't want to sift through the nonsense to talk with you guys, you had a pretty cool MH talk (a thing i really love) but I couldnt be arsed to participate around people falling overthemselves to "mock" gaf.

The Braves, easily. At least I can take solace in their vaunted outfield being garbage.

Jason Heyward's OPS is almost as high as Daniel Murphy's.

Since we're airing out grievances, Momo, a lot of your posts straight up confuse me. Like this one in that facebook thread:

Aww yis, cant wait till others realize facebook is a tool for social cripples.

???

I'm starting to notice a pattern here. You post a lot of passive aggressive posts without a hint or a letter of enunciation or detail. They're fly by one-liner posts that can be construed as trolls without one inkling into your thought process.

What the fuck are you even TALKING ABOUT and how did you get this from reading that thread?
