I had a friend in high school who suggested I listen to Jimmy Eat World and Dave Matthews Band. We aren't friends anymore.
Jimmy Eat World - Sweetness wasnt all bad. Everything else is steamy shit though. As much as their shit was revolting, I couldnt exactly play my music at parties and this poo got girls dancing.

I bet he loved Radiohead and Weezer too.

(Image removed from quote.)
Windows era Weezer was good though. Beverly Hills era Weezer can suck my nob.

Sometimes in this world, one has to subject oneself to awfulness and pretend to be okay with it for social reasons :larry

Muse has great songs, except on The Resistance.

Steely Dan is the most boring dad rock ever, until they start a jam or a guitar solo. The actual verses and choruses are bland as fuck.
:pacspit

Steely Dan is the type of band that unites cultures. You can play Aja in a black barbershop and get the exact same reaction you'd get in the dairy section of a grocery store: head nods and slow claps. Best believe that if MLK set his dream to music, it would be Steely Dan or Hall & Oats.

And while we are here, I may as well admit what I never wanted to. According to last.fm my second most played band of all time is a emo christian band I was obsessed with about 6 years ago -

Don't even bother to try and shame me for this, I have self corpsed over this many times.

You did NOT put Radiohead and Weezer on the same level. I will KILL YOU. I FUCKING HATE WEEZER

Definitely not on the same level. Weezer at least had one good song.

But what kind of music does the business like? Probably either Tom Petty or gay nosebleed gabber.

short form: i'd rather have that thread than filter through gaf's shit unaided

Yes. It also keeps all the GAF stuff in one easily-ignored thread, if you prefer it that way.

I love that the Gaf ththread was restarted. I can so easily ignore it!

For all the homoerotic subtext that goes on in this forum only two showed me their cocks. Bunch of homophobic posers, the lot of you.

Come to Japan! I can show you not only my normal cock, but the Sony CockMan I bought last week, and my atomic protocock; a gift of the Fukushima radiation.

I live in a country where you can go to jail and get your head shaved for playing metal music. So keep your Jesus problems to yourself PD.

On the flip side you can marry 10 year olds

I thought Cormacaroni had moved to a chalet on Victoria Island, and Boogie and he are doing "judo moves" on each other.

I'd pay for video of this, if true.
