No thanks to the combat arena but I'm in for story DLC. I would have liked something set in Columbia instead of Rapture but whatever, I'm sure it'll still be good.

added an interview with Ken Levine about this.

sounds like they knew they needed something out quicker than they could produce, which is why we have the first dlc.

But the second and third sound really cool. Takes place in Rapture prior to the fall, you play as Elizabeth in one of them. It sounds like they said one won't even have any combat?

second and third do sound interesting, yeah, but how do you make that fun within Infinite's framework? if it's a shooter, Rapture is missing the wide open skyrails arenas that made for Infinite's best combat encounters.  if it's not a shooter, what else is there to Infinite? besides rummaging through trash bins

Yeah, so: Rapture.

The game which basically subtracted from Bioshock is dipping back into the barrel for even more self referencing.

This is going to tank hard, and it's going to take a lot of good artists out of a job at 2K when it does.

Why would it bomb? People love Infinite and they loved that part when you went back to Rapture.

It may suck, but I mean I think this is hitting what people wanted.

Single player DLC that far away from the release of a main game unless your name is GTA or Fallout/Elder Scrolls probably isn't the greatest sales proposition.

But it is the speed, apparently, at which The Levine can write.
