Atlanta sucks. Jesus. Someone asked me who would win this week for a bet. 49ers, Seahawks, Atlanta, or the Chargers. I said Atlanta BECAUSE they were playing the Jets. :beli

THis is why I don't bet my own money on football.

What gets me about it is that the mom has not been arrested.  She left her 2 year old alone with a guy who has a criminal record for domestic abuse.  And you know this wasn't the first time.  It never is.

How is she not being charged at least for neglect?

Solid comeback win for the Lions. Megatron was largely used as a decoy as he continues to recover from that knee injury, and he made some uncharacteristic drops. He should be fine next week...

meanwhile Joseph Fauria's ROTY campaign continues. 3 TDs today, 3 dances

Quote
'Grinding the meat': 49ers coach Jim Harbaugh was ecstatic about the 18-play, 89-yard touchdown drive late in the fourth quarter that gave the 49ers a nine-point lead. Harbaugh called the drive “grinding the meat.” Several 49ers said they’ve heard the coach use the expression before.

With Vick out, I picked up Nick Foles on the waiver wire this week, now I'm struggling to decide whether I start him or Cam Newton. Rankings and such seem to indicate Newton but Foles has the easier match up this week. Why's my life so hard?

I'd start Foles. Cam looks shaky, and while he's a double threat...bleh. Too inconsistent. I'd ride the Foles train under it fails.

He's gonna hit DeSean Jackson for at least one bomb TD.

I don't know why the fuck anyone would start Foles over Cam.  Cam ALWAYS has the potential to go apeshit, Foles has the potential to be serviceable at best.

In other news, I forgot to set my lineup again, but it looks like it's cool- didn't start anyone on bye or that was out, at least.

Frustrating Lions loss. Why play to get into OT instead of going for the win? Doesn't make any damn sense, especially considering Megatron was dicing their secondary all day. Really questionable coaching.

Also it's time for everyone to recognize Stafford might never be an elite QB. Screens and big YAC plays from Megatron simply pad his numbers. He can't complete seam routes or consistently hit people in stride. I've seen Brandon Wheedon do that, yet Stafford can't?

Luck is money.

Niners mostly dominate the Titans. Locker tried a comeback, but it didn't really ever seem like something that had any hope. Titans and Colts are two AFC teams I can get behind if it doesn't interfere with mah Niners. A fan of Luck and Kendall Wright. Locker has been impressive as well.

Normally you'd be like "Oh yeah, it's your kicker, you'll get a couple points even on a bad night." But this is the 2013 Giants.
