aftermarket cooling appreciation thread

four hours ago i had to endure a tinnitus inducing squeal and cover myself factor 50 to keep my stock POS heatsink's incendiary blast from melting my skin, now i'm sitting here in perfect silence wearing a seal skin coat to protect me from the icy draft with an overclock that could make gods bleed.

the desktop will rise again.

That looks pretty similar to my Evo 212+ although that's twice as big.

Edit: Good fans are really underrated. With my latest desktop I also decided to go with a triple fan for my GPU. It's totally worth the extra cost.

Yeah my last rig had an evo 212+, it's a great budget cooler.

The Noctua is even better, 4.2ghz overclocked with minimal voltage increase and it barely breaks 70c at 100% load in LinX or Prime 95. Barely hits 50 during heavy gaming
