So what's the deal with this game? Is it poop? I heard it has co-op, we could co-op this mother down.

I already played it.

The first few hours are pretty good.

The second half of the game isn't bad but becomes far more uninteresting with annoying boss battles, recycled areas, and some awful story stuff.

I played like 40 percent of it when it originally came out but something happened to my save file and I lost all progress so I'm actually going to try playing through it for real this time. If anybody wants to play co-op some time, let me know.

My bf just got the Origin humble bundle, so probably going to play more than the five minutes I've already invested. I haven't heard much of the game, but I also haven't really cared for the Dead Space franchise like ever.

I played the first part and thought it was cool (flying through space!), but then other games came out and distracted me.

It seems like a perfectly ok game. It's just after DS 1 I really did'nt care. DS2 just felt like more and three from playing like an hour just feels straight up like they ran out of ideas and ambition.

It's the 3rd game curse of this gen. Where the 2nd one is really polished and maybe fixes and dilvers the potential of the first game and then the 3rd game is just "well I guess people do trilogies so here's a third one".

But yeah I got it on Origin like I guess most of the people here do and I guess I would play co-op. It's Rahxephon91 like it is on Steam, XBL, PSN, whatever.

DUDE I totally forgot about the first 20 minutes or so. It's SO BAD. Like literally the first thing you do in the game is fight dudes in cover based shooting with a shitty pistol and shit.

Then when that's all said and done you go to some space ships and shit and it's pretty cool.

Then you go to the planet and it's pretty shit again.

tbh, I looked up how long it'd take to get to space before I uninstalled it.  Decided I'd rather spend that hour playing Die Hard Arcade.
