Not quite the same but "with no" is replacing "without". Or it's just the Bader-Meinhoff effect and I see it everywhere now that I've noticed people doing it, but it really annoys me.

Totes, deets, basically any shortening of existing words. We went through this in the 90s, decided we hated it, and now these motherfuckers want to bring it back.

Also, while I don't hate "salt", it really got overused. It's being used less and less now but holy fuck.

Also the phrase I will love forever: "u mad?"

Had a supervisor who used to say "The thing of it is" at the beginning of just about every sentence. I had a horrible experience at that job and get flashbacks every time I hear someone say that now.

I guess it's not really slang, but I hate it regardless.

"Legit" and "Epic" bother me. I hated "epic" when it first started getting used the way it is now, long before it got run into the ground.

"The Barrack Obamas and Nancy Pelosis of the world are trying to take away our freedoms, and it's up to the Sean Hannities and Glenn Becks of the world to put a stop to it."

I don't mind slang and dumb sayings. I used to be opposed to most of that shit, but I stopped caring and use it to be silly, especially at work. I'm now more against office politics than slang, so I do my part in ruining hope of acceptable office etiquette. Our entire dept's behavior is pretty much uncontrollable, so no point in professionalism now.

To manager: "Ooh got your email o snark. No joke boss, I researched that high tax rate, and it's legit. Totes ridic I know!"
