From what I saw it's a bit more like Dead Rising Mirrors Edge Island I think.

Which is totally awesome. And it was one of the few PS4/XBONE games I saw that were running at 60fps already

Already up for preorder on Steam. Looks pretty cool, although Dead Island looked pretty cool in trailers too.

I enjoyed the first Dead Island a lot, though I never did finish it. Skipped Riptide since it just looked like a stand-alone expansion. This definitely has my interest.
