To be fair, TGS IS the deciding factor. At this point, there's no distinguishing factor between consoles and pc due to the western support. The reason to buy the consoles at this point is Japanese support, which traditionally isn't on pc.

Oh come on Himu, that's the equivalent of the people saying 360 was only outselling PS3 due to people replacing their red ringed boxes. Whilst I'm sure the Wii U return rate was astronomically higher than any other console, I doubt it's enough to affect the launch period numbers that significantly. Based on the 1 million WW preorder numbers, I doubt PS4 will outsell Wii U's launch which would be the most hilarious thing ever, the pure entertainment derived from the November and December NPDs will be unmatched.

I think you should expect some kind of plan for 2014 and the future.  The Order might've been the only new game announcement since that February reveal.  Even if there's a drought, convince people that there's a future.

xbox one has halo 5, that black tusk game, titanfall, sunset overdrive, quantum break, and I'm blanking on others.

maybe xbox one is a shower and sony believes in revealing games closer to release.  or maybe it's like the wii u where they don't show anything because they got nothing.  who knows.

I really care very little about the PS4 hype train, but another factor to consider is allocation. I'm not a retail expert by any stretch, but haven't retailers been fairly decent as of late about not just selling preorders to every person who expresses interest, but actually factoring in whether or not they can honor the preorders? Meaning, it's possible that there are a lot more than one million people interested in a PS4 at this point, but retailers aren't allocating for that many predorders either due to known shipment numbers, or fears about getting shipments.

But again, please, please, please don't read this as positive Sony spin.

At launch I will get Killzone: Shadow Fall and Driveclub (since it's a freebie). I'm also getting Infamous: Second Son, Resogun, Rime, and Galak-Z: The Dimensional hopefully close to launch. Knack might be fun, but I'm probably going to wait until it's like $20.
