The Black Keys are pretty fucking awesome. I'm only halfway through the album "Magic Potion" but it's so goddamned cool. I just might have to join Triumph in his pimpage of this band.

Word!  Now go out and buy one of their other albums, or go see them in concert.  Since they're on an indie label and their records don't cost shit to record, they actually see some of the money.

I'm listening to the songs on their site, and I'm impressed. Very stripped, old school stuff. Like the White Stripes but harder.

The singer sounds like a white version of Buddy Miles. Nice

I'm really not big on Magic Potion, but Thickfreakness and oh,fuck, I took a nap and now I can't remember the one that's one the tribute album and not Rubber Factory.

Fuck, what I'm getting at is that "Yearnin'" is a great song.

I heard Magic Potion first and was blown away by it, but having heard all of their albums now I have to say that the rest of their albums are all better- and that's not to say Magic Potion is BAD, it's still a really good album.  But the rest of their albums are fucking incredible.

I'm getting a hard-on right now from this news. I will listen to the other two albums I've required after the football games today.
