yeah forgot to mention this in the movies thread, but Frost is absolutely the shining star of this movie.  Emotional center, most powerful acting force in any of the scenes, as well as being the source for all the physical humor and action scenes.  Dude was a fucking beast in the fight scenes.

Still good but the weakest of the three. I thought Frost was good as the straight man but Pegg not so much as the funny man.

I can't rank it yet but I liked it a ton. Frost was so good as the straight man and although I was iffy on Pegg at the beginning he worked well in his role by the end. I can't wait to see it again.

you're placement of this movie among the others is highly dependent on what particular techniques and themes you've liked in the past Wright films.  Wright covers a lot of different areas of specialization in filmmaking, and there are plenty of things some people prefer over some other ones.  If you preferred his work in Hot Fuzz, you'll probably like this more than Shaun.  If you enjoyed Shaun the most, you'll probably rank this below Shaun as well.

Hot Fuzz didn't do anything for me. It was okay, but not really amazeballs like Shaun had been.

Movie made me want to drink beer, as my Untappd stream will attest, as will later streams.

It reminded me a little of From Dusk 'Till Dawn , in that the first half and second half are essentially different movies.
