LET'S DO THIS THING

I have no idea what else is being shown, but if you pop by the INDIE MEGABOOTH go to the 17-BIT booth and you can play my cool new game Galak-Z and getcher hands all over our sexy PS4 controllers. By the way please introduce yourself and don't just kind of hover near the booth acting all weird softly making sheep noises, I'm friendly. So is Jake. But watch out for my animator bro Callen, he's a stone cold killa

My game is cool, it's like Asteroids meets Bangai-O

And the controls are pretty good.

Also there's lava and you shoot it and it goes BLOOP BLOOP BLOOP and hits enemies and they're like GARRRRR NOOOOOOOOOOO NOT LAVA

And it's not pretentious or anything, and all the cutscenes are realtime and hold 60fps and at one point there's something like 50 3D missiles flying around leaving smoke trails just because next generation doesn't give a damn about how many particles you put on the the stupid screen, it can take it

It will cost money and be out in 2014...we don't really think ahead about that kinda stuff

Galak-Z looks pretty tight. I love the indie scene bringing back all the things I loved about arcade action gaming. Responsive controls, great gameplay, no filler, and lots of stuff blowing up.

I am remembering a couple of years ago here, when I said "I am going to go to PAX," and you said, "Come up and enjoy Seattle; we will avoid PAX together!"

As it turned out, though was actually living in the USA last year, my family was visiting from Japan while PAX was held.

I went to PAX in its second year when it was in Bellevue and decided gaming conventions weren't really my thing. It was fun to get in on some LAN gaming and try out some new games but my god the smells and the social handicaps

That trailer was more anime themed than I expected. Gameplay looks pretty good, like Asteroids + Bangai-O.
