I watched four bros play this game through the City of Gold, Hell, and beat Satan in a single sitting in co-op mode at MAGFEST. I accidentally came on one of them but I was embarrassed so I didn't say anything.

Co-op is either way easier or way harder; it's way harder if your buddy is a dope, or it's way easier if he's not.

I had my best game during today's daily challenge (PC). Last time I got to the fourth world it was dark, couldn't tell what was happening, and died in seconds. This time I managed to get to olmec and what killed me were those damn climbing gloves (kali reward, couldn't avoid) making my guy cling to the wall when I was trying to run out front under the stomp.

You can avoid the kali rewards. They spawn on the altar, you often find yourself standing on them as they do, but you can avoid it if you are quick about it.

I'm such a fucking boner. Got to the City of Gold with 35+ bombs, 20 health, compass, jetpack, sticky, spring shoes, but I let myself get crushed by one of those moving blocks. :'( My stupidity will always ruin my chances of ever beating Hell.

man, I was doing alright on today's daily challenge for having no traversal power ups. then in the ice area the aliens somehow managed to destroy the kali alters in two levels before I entered them. never dealt with the ball and chain before. second temple level I got right under the exit but was too heavy to jump for it and had no ropes :'(
