Cultural signifiers

What is your opinion on cultural signifiers. Are they good or bad. I need to know soon because I have a decision to make on whether to stay in the cultural signifiers biz or whether to divest.

Your combined ignorance & laziness knows no bounds. Literally five seconds in Google, and the first result for "cultural signifier" produces this informationally dense passage

There are certain similarities that exist in every culture. Social structure, transportation, and some form of art or theater are present in every part of the world. But there are many more things that make us different from each other, and these I call cultural signifiers.
Cultural signifiers are things that represent a group of people as something other than a stereotype. They show an intrinsic part of their culture, not a flat or Westernized representation. They present a group of people (or community or country) as a collection of individuals, not as something with only a few defining characteristics.

:lol do you guys think I was actually upset? Just giddy at the chance to stomp yet another mudhole in Andrex's sore, crusty anus.

The point wasn't that I found the number one resource for information regarding the topic, it was more about showing that simply searching the internet for things you want to know is as easy, if not easier, than shitposting on this board and making an ignoramus out of yourself.

when the top result reads like it comes from some edgy sociology freshman's pre-term notebook, i can understand the desire for a little clarity. no need to r0x out.

It's cute you've assumed your role as "straight man" to the joke without realizing it was meant to be a joke, lol. I figured the ring bit would have given it away.

Does that make me the boke? :uguu
