The reason GAF doesn't have them is because they are more trouble than they are worth.

Even if you put up a notice that the mods/forum has NOTHING TO DO with the trades, the mods will get pissed really quick once someone gets scammed or someone doesn't send shit out, and they have to deal with the fallout of a poster telling them they HAVE to do something.

Yes, they wouldn't have to do anything, but this community is small, and they would probably feel compelled to try to do something.

yeah. you start a new thread for whatever merchandise you have to sell and lock it yourself once somebody bids high enough on it (preferably by PM).

I dunno, I figure if you allow a thread/sub-forum for buy/sell/trade, that you've got to warn fuckers that they WILL be banned if they dick over someone. I can't really figure how it'd piss off a mod or anything to just go through a few clicks to ban a fucker.

Dude, think about who we have moderating the forums over there. Obviously whitey is cool, but even he is mean and lazy, just in a cool way. Everyone else is that way in a SUCKY way.
