the artwork projected behind those japanese folk looks quite nice. Is it by whoever did BOF5?

Ikehara was the director on BoF 3-5.

Pretty much majority, if not all, of the JRPGs on mobile don't have or require IAP.

Of course, that will probably change, but you can still tap to attack a slime while taking a shit in peace.

What happened here?  :yuck   PSO2 was pretty cool.  I thought Tri-Ace was supposed to be a competent developer?   ???

The Grasshopper/Suda51/Tokyo Jungle dude PS3 game has a release date.

Quote from: Anime News Network
In addition, the anime's PlayStation 3 video game, titled Yukigimi Ranko no Ichiban Nagai Hi (Ranko Yukigimi's Longest Day), will ship in Japan on January 16 for 6,980 yen (about US$70). The 2D scrolling game tells the story of the fifth short in Short Peace, which was not included in the anime film. (The game's disc will contain the full anime film as well.) The story follows the unreal daily life of three high school girls, one of whom happens to be an assassin. Gōichi "Suda51" Suda (No More Heroes, Lollipop Chainsaw) and Yōhei Kataoka (Tokyo Jungle) are developing the game.

Nova is very blatantly a pile of recycled PSO2 material. The trailer I saw featured ONE original enemy.

Sounds fine to me. Hell I wish Square had made an "offline" FFXI. People should re-use those MMO assets.

Agree with this.  I loved the actual game, but I got in too late and had no way to get to where other people were playing.  Just give me some shit I can actually do solo.

Not a surprise there. I like Sega's games but their business decisions in regards to what to localize and what not to tend to be a downer. But hey, Project Diva happened so anything's possible! Anything besides Yakuza 5, that is. :teehee

So I just realized that TGS 2013 is over and Persona 5 wasn't announced.

wtf.

Is this just because of the whole Index going bankrupt -> sale to Sega delaying P5 reveal or is the game another fucked in development Japanese rpg like Versus?  Pretty sure the entire Persona team has been on it since Catherine and it's been hinted that it was gonna be revealed fall 2013 for sure, aka TGS...

1- The Sega deal won't be finalized till November 1st.

2- Why reveal it and be another FF Versus disaster, delays after delays and no showings?

3- Next gen is here so they are probably working on making it cross gen which is pretty huge for Atlus.

4- RPGs are dead

5- iOS

6- Himu

I would have thought a P5 announcement would have been either a good distraction to the whole thing or if you want to look at it another way, a good reassurance.

But don't these things get announced in Famitsu?

I thought 3 and 4 were just randomly announced in Famitsu.

On a serious note, you can fully customize their looks (ie remove the shit googles) and the original costumes will be available.

She was "debunked" already by Redditors.  Are those videos even still coming out, or is she still at like 2-3 after getting all that Kickstarter money?   :lol

Nova's a Vita game.  SEGA are finished with Vita support in the West.  Somehow Nova not coming out in NA is a surprise.  Psyduck.

OK- where is Phantasy Star Online 2 for PC, Sega?   :-\

Ehn, SEGA stopped licensing their stuff out to Atlus (and anyone else) a loooong time ago.  If anything, the purchase only improves the odds of Atlus being allowed to localize stuff SoA passes on.

I hope to God this is one of the reasons they got Atlus (along with Persona money, etc)
