I am not shy, but I'm not extroverted either. People who are extroverted are as annoying as introverts.

Telling an extrovert to have a little consideration for other people's personal space is not out of line.

Telling an introvert to sac up and expect that they must interact with other humans as part of participating in society is also reasonable. If you don't like interacting with other people, buy a cabin and move to the mountains.

Thing is with extroverts, they don't want to talk to you, they just want to talk and you happen to be in the closest proximity. They don't care about you, or want a quality back-and-forth, they're just addicted to making noise.
