The past few days of Washington weather has been ass. Yes yes, I lived in North Dakota, it CAN get worse other places. BUT, WA is not EQUIPPED for this kind of weather and its just fukin us over. For example people had to abandon their cars on the sides of roads like its the apocalypse! Then the cops TOWED THEM and charged the people 200 bux lol. Not like I can even drive my car right now anyway, if im not sliding off roads im attempting to slide down hill into my parking spot.

This freeze is hell. I got a bunch of errands I need to run -- including a few for Evilboreans -- but I can't get up my stupid hill!

tell me about it, I lived in the barren wasteland of North Dakota for 20 years and last night here in Tempe there was a feeze warning and I froze my ass off. I didn't sign up for freezing temps when I moved to here. It's noon and still only 36 degrees

Its so cold!!! I locked my self out of the house after I went drinking with MAF and DRINKY, I had to take a wiz outside. Bearing your wang out in the single digits is not very fun.

School Psychologist. I don't have a class full of kids, which is very nice.

The only days that might not have to be made up are those that occured after the governor declared a state of emergency. I think one of our four canceled days falls under that.

And now they're talking about more snow tonight, what the hell?!?

Yet another snow day today. We probably have 4-5 inches here in Ballard.

Got a call from the Director of Special Education (my boss) this morning as I was getting ready to shovel the snow out of my driveway... they decided to cancel school at the last minute.

I'd really like to go back to work one of these days.

I work for the Auburn School District. We started off the morning with on time with snow routes, then no outside district transportation, then 2 hours late at 6am, and then closed by 8:20am.

My wife had to fly down to Charlotte, NC this morning for work. She said that they had to de-ice the plane three times at SeaTac this morning before they could take off.

Haha, well most of the snow hit between 6-8, now its just cold and freezing rain. The grounds too cold to thaw easily at anything below 40. Sorta fucked till tomorrow.

We had three snow days, the weekend, and Martin Luther King Jr. Day, culminating in six days off of work.

I only get two personal days each year, but I can't complain, seeing how I get Thanksgiving vacation, Christmas vacation, Veteran's Day, President's Day, MLK Jr. Day, Midwinter Break (one week), Spring Break (one week) and Summer Vacation (two months).
