So, I got a home brewery kit for Christ's birthday and put it to immediate use, combining a West Coast Pale Ale recipe and blueberries to make the most delicious amateur beer ever made. Today, I decided to test it, as per the directions, before I begin Phase II which is the carbonation and bottling process. I was worried it'd taste like broth or sugar water or watered-down dirt mud.
It tastes like beer! Warm, flat delicious beer! I did it!
This is like Easy Bake Ovens for 20-somethings.
Sometime within the next couple of days I'll begin the bottling and carbonation process so that Disposable White Guy and myself can enjoy this new delicious brew in celebration of my upcoming birthday.
