they've drafted a non-shitty cast full of actual talented actors to star in it (box office sensations like Bryan Cranston, Elizabeth Olson, David Strathairn) and Frank Darabount re-tooled the script.
geez, I can't believe that I actually have cause to be optimistic about an American-made Godzilla film. They even got Akira Takarada to film a cameo (from the OG Godzilla, and five others), holy crap.
