Fucking hell, Borys. Thanks for bringing my browser to a crawl. Half a dozen high-rez animated GIFs... Jesus, my Mac fans sound like a 747 is taking off. Thank god I didn't try to open it on my phone.

I have a feeling it's going to be the Red Steel of this generation.

I would've gone with heavenly sword.  Super shallow but nice looking at release.  Even has the same ostentatious animations.

those gifs are nearly 20megs a piece

The depressing thing is that Rome is such an awesome setting for a videogame given how much shit you could do with it - be it a complete sandbox or something like KOTOR or a straight up action game. But this looks like nothing more than a tech demo, and when it underperforms someone will say "I guess we should have made a FPS instead!"

This is what I would imagine a CoD game set in ancient Rome would be like. Don't support the Xbone, brehs.

MS was smart to approach Crytek for an exclusive graphical showcase— those guys are tech wizards.

Yeah, Crysis 1 sure is looking good for a 2007 title now.

Wait... what?

FarCry looks better than Crysis 1, even. If we're going super-serious about this.

Far Cry looks pretty good. I should reinstall it and give it another try. I think I had a Pentium III the last time I tried to play it.
