As such a goddamn Google shill, maybe you can help me figure out why Chrome is such a buggy piece of shit. I'm constantly getting this error where a download gets to 100% but won't finish (just stuck at 96.0kb/96.0kb, for instance), and then Chrome is basically crippled after that, and lots of pages won't show up, and previously-opened tabs won't appear when you click on them.

I also get lots of "This page has become unresponsive... Kill Page?" errors as well. Fuck this shit. I'm about to switch back to Mozilla full time.

I'm running Windows 7, btw.

I don't know anything specific about what Chrome is doing, but re the shifting Chrome vs. Firefox performance wars ... one thing I'm not sure most people have really wrapped their heads around is that websites are really applications in their own right these days - websites can do almost anything that native programs can, and they use resources in the same way. So when looking at performance you generally need to pay more attention to the sites themselves - "web browsing" really isn't a singular task for your computer.
