Biggie has one and a half good albums under his belt when he passed. Ready to Die is a classic album and I don't even think THAT is too great beyond the singles. I'm pretty sure Biggie would have gone 50 Cent status if he had lived. After one album he was already starting to ham it up.

Biggie had a higher ceiling than Pac; Pac was way more driven. And 36 Chambers is, has been, and always will be Wu Tang's best work.

Pretty much all the early Wu albums were tight as fuck.

Favorite other than 36 Chamers is Cuban Linx. I was iffy on Liquid Swords as a teenager, but it grows on me as I've aged.

I didn't say Street's Disciple is better than Liquid Swords. SD is a highly flawed double album with some bangers. LS is a fantastic display of hip hop production and lyricism and is far more balanced than SD. It just isn't my style of hip hop and I prefer 36 Chambers.

Tical isn't bad but will always be a disappointing album. The original version was more in line with Bring The Pain but it was destroyed after RZA's basement flooded (alongside Deck's solo album). One of the worst freak occurrences in hip hop history. $:-\$
