The police are right to bring charges, and this is a sad testament to the way things are - but I'm almost surprised they are... No reasonable society should make it even remotely possible to mount a defence of something like this.

the prosecutor sending this back to the cops and telling them to get more evidence makes this a million times more disgusting than it already is. itd be one thing if these shitbags got fast tracked to death row but instead these cases get treated like rape/DA cases: "we werent there so we cant know what really happened." makes me sick.

A few months ago, a bunch of 7/11s on the island (including my local one) were raided by cops, since they were being manned by illegal Pakistani immigrants. The big joke around here that the cops walked past all the illegal immigrants standing outside the 7/11 to round up the illegal immigrants working inside. Now all the 7/11s are run by white or black people.
