1) The hardware didn't live up to the hype
2) The launch games suck

CoD Ghosts is the biggest troll in all of this drama. 720p vs 1080p, framrate drops even on SLI Titan PCs, suddenly PS4 is 720p as well, day one patches dropping. Meanwhile, it's still a terrible game despite all the attention it's getting.

I probably wont be thirsty enough to get a ps4 'til FF XV.

Shit is pretty stoopid if it really is because of the touchpad. Stupid touchpads, I really hate them, worst things about the vita and the ps4 pad. Dumb

Pretty sure I get 30-40 hrs out of ps3 pads and I still found that annoying (mainly because the ps3 had to be on to charge them and my generic powered usb hubs didn't charge them for some reason). Why such a massive difference?

You can use it like a move controller with the camera. It also does shit in games, like show health or whatever.

It's an all purpose indicator.  Players are colors instead of numbers; player 1 is blue (da ba dee), etc. Orange while charging.  In sound shapes it pulses to the beat.  Wasteful to be on always. Move also had bad battery life.

The controller audio might be another reason.  Don't know why it'd be the touchpad.

I completely misread that on my phone 

starting thinking if the PS4 was getting two signals from the controller, since the PC doesn't detect the touchpad if it's wired or bluetooth wireless, and the PS4 controller support is down from 7 to 4 (which wouldn't make sense regardless).
