Take your word for it but I've had some disgusting sandwiches from Safeway

Have you had Costco pizza?  How does Safeway compare?

I had a giant ass sausage pizza and it was super good, I did append it with some extra spiciness though. Haven't ever hit the Safeway deli, I'd eat from there at my own risk

My monitor is 3dvision 2 compatible.  I play in 3d every now and then, which causes about a 50% reduction in framerate. 

That's the main reason why I have a SLI rig since the 780 TI can play most games at 1080p, 60fps with pretty high image quality settings.

Ah, I see. 3D is totally off my radar.

I'd be tempted to give up 3D for 4k though

But right now, there's just too much performance and image quality compromises at 4K even with the best rigs

Just use the in game down sampling option. That's a lot of grunt being wasted.
