i also really liked the ending shoot out of Drug War but it's much much better in context as To brings together all of the different players in the film to this one inevitable spot

I will vouch for Drug War, easily the best action scene from To's whole career (yeah, I went there)
Great, great movie too, I mean, I frigging love Johnnie To and even I didn't expect to love it as much as I did.

and on balance, the best shootout ever does belong to Heat, or Hard Boiled, the finale of A Bittersweet Life says 'I ain't too shabby'.

Drug War is a pretty good movie. The main action scene at the end is phenomenal.

Since Hardboiled has already been done.

But the Teahouse is also good.

Though maybe that doesn't count.
