Kimi choosing to go under the knife and Lotus bringing in Kova (LOL) as a replacement, McLaren dropping the bomb that they are shitbinning Checo right before his "home race", and Williams switching Pastor for Massa (LOL x2)

Will be incredibly hard to force myself to watch this, only doing it to see how bad Kova will be. Maybe not Luca Badoer bad, but hopefully he will provide some hilarity by spinning and stalling in T1 or something.

Thats the risk/reward of taking a late race. I remember Brazil and Japan getting lucky a number of times in the last couple of decades that the championship went to the end and they got the dramatic finale.

They are trying to get points. Valsecchi has zero F1 race experience and d'Ambrosio hasn't done a lot of miles in the 2013 car. They tried to get Hulk and even Mschu (LOL) before Kova, so that should tell you that experience is what they want. Kova has done most FP1:s this year (and fared reasonably well), and he's also raced for Renault before so is somewhat of a known quantity.
