What is everyone doing?

Tonisha and I are heading to Detroit to hang out with family and friends, probably spend the week there. I always enjoy the D.

It's a trip a lot of people I know are like "ewww detroit is horrible", fuck that. Detroit is a great, I love that city.

Naw, family meeting at my aunt and uncle's house there. To be honest, I'm not looking all that forward to it. Their house is too damn small for the amount of people who show up, drafty, and my mother and aunt are kosher health nuts, so the food is usually kind of...eh. Plus now we have a dog, who's gonna be sitting here all alone for a good 5-6 hours. $:-\$ We might hire a dog walker.

But on the bright side, I'm taking off 11/26-12/2. Coming back the following Tuesday is gonna be great- I get to avoid the shitstorm that's gonna hit on Monday when everyone returns back to work post-vacation and shit is all broken.

Well the pharmacy job is 24/7 including holidays so I'm gonna be working the afternoon/evening.

I'm going to my parents house and gorging on halal turkey. Black Friday is actually my birthday but I don't really feel like buying anything.

Also feeling super anxious about grad applications due a couple days later but I don't want to volunteer or do any charity which usually makes me feel really good since everywhere is swamped with volunteers this time of year. I am buying weed tomorrow though woohoo!

I've no fucking idea whats happening right now. Last year I was called the day before and asked to make everything. This year no one is calling us to figure out what we need or when/if we'll even meet. If no plans are made in a little while I'll be going to Fresno and spending it with my grandfather and go visit my father. Screw this last minute shit!

Just made some homemade BBQ sauce for some leftover pulled pork we had.

My mini-me and I are playing hooky tomorrow to play and watch Disney Princess movies and dance to silly music and bake and prep food for Thanksgiving. Girls day

Thanksgiving with my parents on Thursday, then our own little Thanksgiving on Saturday to give thanks that we don't have to go to my in-laws or see any other psycho family. I used to dislike this holiday but now I love it. I get paid time off to cook good food? And hang out with people I like? And avoid people I don't? And I don't have to buy any gifts?! Best holiday!
