So between Polygon being made fools of with their reviews of CoD and AC4 where they incorrectly made assumpstions , I just heard from a ITK that the reason were seeing major score differences between Europe and US review sites is that Microsoft is actually giving every DLC away to US journos weres a law in the UK and other European countries says they can't do this because of payola.

So now you have a bunch of US "journalists" pretending that dlc is no big deal for games like Forza while the Europeans get the everymans purrspecthiv and scores reflect that. When is this madness going to end?!?!

When are game companies going to stop trying to influence and be good christian and holeslaw like Nintendo?

Unless it's like some ripoff Gameloft f2p that requires an extra $50 to finish the game, scores shouldn't be affected by whether there is dlc or not.

Besides, reviewers don't pay for the stuff they review.  Either the publishers send the game or their own company pays for it.    I don't see how money would be a factor in this case.
