Would rather buy a Wii U and Mario than another Zelda game. That franchise can DIAF after Skyward Sword and Phantom Tracks. Worst games I've wasted dozens of hours of my life on and regret horribly. Those also got 10s. I do not trust anyone reviewing a Zelda game, ever. And I certainly do not trust Nintendo Zelda team with making a non-tedious, actually fun, actually good game anymore. They haven't made one of those since Majora's Mask.

Tempted to buy a Wii U but $350 is still a fuck lot. Add in another $100 for Mario 3d World and Wonderful 101 and that's $$$. Makes me want to wait until next year.

It's not terrible, because yeah Falcom is a good dev. But it's like Ys Seven but worse in almost every way and that was already a step back from Oath or even Origins. Celceta is not bad, not great, just kind of meh Ys title.

Wii U is $300 retail, by the way - and I think some retailers are doing bundles for $250. I dont find Black Friday deals to be exciting enough, so I am buying one. I planned on buying one this holiday, anyway. The Xbox falling in my lap was a divine intervention - I did not plan for it at all.

The plan does not change. I am buying Wii U.

Really? I googled and the "deluxe" version of the system with some actual storage was $350, with some deals for $330 and some bundled versions with NSMB Wii U + NSMB Wii U Luigi.

If I can get Wii U deluxe + NSMB Wii U + NSMB Wii U Luigi for <$300 I'll probably bite. And if there's any deals on Wonderful 101 and/or Pikmin 3 I'd bite on those two. NSMB, W101, Pikmin, Mario 3d World, Bayo2 are the only Wii U games I want through 2014.

I would hold off on buying the Wii U. If the 3D World/Mario Kart 8 1-2 punch fails to reboot sales, Nintendo will go into full panic mode, which may mean a big ass price drop to $200 or some shit. Just be patient.

I wouldn't know...I skipped all that shit. This is the first Zelda game I've looked forward to trying since...Link's Awakening, probably.

I haven't even opened my Wii U and I'm already feeling buyer's remorse as I realize that after NSMB Wii, NSMB 2 3DS, and Super Mario Land 3DS in such a short span of time, I'm actually kind of burnt out on Mario Platforming and the thought of 3 games worth of it is -_-

1) Have to spend another $50 for Wii U component cables and play in stereo audio

2) Play using the audio coming from my TV set (stereo) instead of my sound system/speakers.

God, I fucking hate Nintendo's ass backward's hardware.
