I understand many Muslims feel very sensitive about their religious figures and don't stand for them to be defaced, but come on. Those riots were simply insane.

Although that's a good example. But alas, one could say the same about the opposition - whoops, I mean the lack of oppositon - the Falwells/Robertsons/etc get from other more sane Christians. Of course there's a difference between killing innocent people and not letting people marry...but still. One could argue that Christians are not obligated to publically rebuke each other (the Bible says that should be done privatly) other issues like that. There are many people out there misusing Christianity for far worse things (TD Jakes comes to mind) than not letting people marry and you don't see any rebuke from Christians publically.
