It was pretty good.  I didn't think Jean Reno would work but he added a nice change of pace and was incorporated nicely into the story.

Yeah, that's basically how I'd rank it although 1 had a unique charm.  There's a sense of foreboding in the original that is missing from the sequels.

Doesn't Onimusha 3 suck?

3=2 > 1 >> 4 basically. Something like that. 3 doesn't suck at all though.

that's how I'd rank 1-3.  Onimusha 4 didn't seem that bad from the little I played, but I didn't play enough of it or that fighting game with mega man.
