As much as I came to enjoy the PS3 when I bought one in 2011...

PC is indeed the obvious.

It's  where I spent the most time playing overall.

On my computer(s) I played PC exclusives, a shit ton of emulated PS2/GC games, retro games AND a bunch of console ports from last gen.

At the moment, PCs are the edgy 'cool' devices to have.

And it's about the indies.

Artisan coding enthusiasts, all banking on getting sucked up and assimilated by Apple, Sony, Steam etc. Its like the rich always seem to appropriate the nice things in life.

Whenever I see someone list a PS3 as their favorite console, I know it's because they don't own a 360 as well. People who own both lean toward the 360, in my experience.

The PS3 is my preferred console because I only had to buy it once. By the time my third 360 melted, I didn't have much goodwill left for the Xbox ecosystem.

I had three die on me, and I never got an in-warranty replacement. After the third time, I never went back.

Objectively, I can see that the 360 was preferable for most of the generation (PS3 exclusives + PS+ value absolutely pulled ahead in the last 2 years or so) but I just can't get over that.

The best "console" this generation is the PS3.
