Drug names are a bit different in America but try to get something containing diclofenac. You can see common trade names at http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Diclofenac#Trade_names

Regular unspecific painkillers might work too.

Stiff neck? It's meningitis. Get to ER NOW!

OTC, best bet would be an NSAID like diclofenac gel or tablets.

I knew what meningitis was but looking at pictures of it on wikipedia makes me sad.

Do any of you have any suggestion for nerve pain? I've been getting a horrible burning nerve pain in my leg lately.

That's definitely something you'll need to see a doctor for.

A couple weeks ago I was reading on the couch in an awkward position, to this day I don't know why I didn't move to a more comfortable position. I was basically leaning on the arm of the couch, my neck was extended, etc. The next day my neck was fuuucked up, even slight moves to the left/right gave me a nagging pain spike. I didn't take anything for it, just rode it out. I was surprised at how bad it felt tbh.

It's just inflammation.

Get an anti-inflammatory and realize that you have a dumb brain that overreacts from time to time. Pain/discomfort is mostly bullshit.

If its inflammation do what TA said

Also, if you feel stiff in muscle areas, also try using a heat pack. Something like ThermaCare.

Mary Jane works real well for me.

I figure a guy with STONEY in his username would be familiar with its acquisition and use.

I never realized that...

Try yoga too. Makes your muscles feel alive.

Surprisingly the username is a reference to the flinstones rather than weed. I have to explain this to people every time on Xbox Live as people assume I'm all about blazin 420. I would change it but everybody knows me as this on all my gaming forums.

Thanks for all the advice. When I go to bed tonight I'm just going to stick a heating pad on my neck and upper back and see how I feel in the morning.
