I really couldn't give two shits about PAX or Penny Arcade and am decidedly not offended by any of this.  I just think it's hilarious.  Also my boyfriend is a ginger bear!

Yeah, that's my reaction. Until I see it blow up I think it's a little too early to be counting chickens on this sort of thing.

Of course, I'm sure it'll blow up since it's Penny-Arcade and Gabe "doesn't get cheeseburgers" to where this is a possible train-wreck coming. But the idea isn't necessarily bad.

If people want to rage for the sake of internet rage, they should instead question why this wasn't done sooner since it's pretty typical for every convention.

I think there's snark and then there's this. They've opened up an open forum to publicly discuss these issues that plagued former PAX events. They're directly addressing it, in a logical manner. It isn't segregation, it's handing out pamphlets and shit. It's basically Pride Fest except at PAX.

I guess Gay Gamers is segregation too, going by this and the gaf thread.
