Got that FFVIII......

and it's got horrible music. Hopefully this gets patched. Wasn't this the same for VII on steam?

Yes. And you can replace it yourself.

Yeah saw that in the steam forums. I guess there's a way to also replace the FMV with higher qualtiy versions as well.

Left 4 Dead 2 is free today only.

I'm sure everybody here already owns it but still.

Not really higher quality, but they made them bigger and "smoothed" it or something, so yeah...

If you can't access the store and stuff try "ipconfig /flushdns" in the start menu run box. (Or equivalent command.) Even fixed the trying to buy something secure part for me.

Bought Just Cause 2 for that MP mod.

Was going to get KOF13 Steam Edition, but I realized I really wasn't going to put much time into it. I already have a bunch of other fighting games I am actively playing.

Haven't bought anything because I don't really have any desire to play anything but spelunky.

SRIV is testing that desire. Would buy if I was drunker

Do it anyway, Yul. It's $10. YOLO and all that?

Plus the online is better than the console versions of probably most whatever you're playing.

Got the limited edition for 360 (and haven't played) but I'm tempted to buy the Human Revolution director's cut. Deus Ex has always been a series I want to get into, and I own the first as well (everyone tells me to stay faaaaaar away from the second one).

dx1 is dated as fuck and people that first play it now dont seem to like it much. dx3 on the other hand is very easy to get into and just as awesome. also the music is fucking amazing.

Anno games are primarily about supply chain management first, and city construction and population management a close second. They play very differently than Sim City but scratch the same itch in the general sense, though if you are looking to play a SimCity game with all of that franchise's expectations Anno will not fit the bill.

They are also gorgeous.

Yeah I got that thanks to the Humble Bundle.

Thanks for the replies. I'm going to pass on it for now.

Right now I'm lookin at Dark Souls because I haven't played it and if I do it might as well be the PC version. Also DMC, but I might just wait until next sale when it's cheaper.

I replayed Deus Ex 1 like a year and a half ago. It holds up well outside the visuals. Super fun game.

Also Invisible War is not a bad game by any stretch. It gets trashed because it's not the landmark game the first game was, and the environments in the game are smaller due to concessions to the console version. Oddly enough Thief 3 has some of the same issues but doesn't get nearly as much hate.

This is the truth. I played both a few years back and enjoyed them, though the original is clearly superior.

Human Revolution is still the best.

And does anyone know if Brothers needs analog triggers? it's the one game that would make sense to play with the wii u pro controller, but it only has shoulder buttons.

No, go for it. But I think the non-Going East doesn't include mountains. Going East does IIRC. Or that's mods. Either way get mountains to tumble down in.

Yep that screams western FF game. I think I'll pass.

So I guess you shouldn't buy Dark Souls right now because of GFWL? Is the online really that important for Dark Souls?

Anyway I'm at $60 this sale. I got:

Aliens Colonial Marines
Counter Strike Go
Skyrim
Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy VIII
Max Payne 3
Outlast
The Secret World
State of Decay
The Walking Dead +DLC
