Realistically, less than you'd think. You can just slow roll playing video poker all day/night and keep getting free drinks. Remember to tip your waitress, though.

That, of course, doesn't count lodging and food, but you can totally eat cheap shitty fast food the whole trip if you want. And let's be real, once you ARE drunk you'll start making stupid decisions, so, yeah, probably about as much money as you'd think.

What he said. You can get really good deals on flights and hotels bundling on sites like bookit or whatever. Casinos run specials all the time because they just want you there gambling. The slow play some slots close to the bar trick always works, tip a couple bucks for the first drink and one for each subsequent and they'll keep em coming at a good rate. Vegas can be really cheap or really expensive depending on how you react to shiny things. All sorts of promos you can take advantage of, there's even like an official Vegas slots app (free) that you can earn points for free shit. Some of the cheesier or crappier hotels are down right dirt cheap. Or you can stay in a baller suite on the strip and pay through the nose for everything.

NY NY was the best place on the strip to play table games on my last trip. Plus Shake Shack

Honestly I'd probably consider Fremont Street if I went out for non work shit. I had a much better time there and at Insert Coin than I did on the strip.

not much really; as mentioned you can just kinda zone out at a $5 table or whatever for an hour and get tanked on mixed drinkss and wine for tips only. food itself varies; restaurants can be pricey or not. the only thing is everyone and their mom wants a tip for breathing the same air as you do. easy to avoid if you just walk around.

also i'd open to the old strip/fremont. was kinda fun the night I wandered down there. felt appropriately slimy. girls of the glitter gulch is a must visit for all the best-wrong reasons. it's also much more compact thus easier to walk. vegas strip blocks are fucking huge.

I thought insert coin was kinda... ehh. granted this was during evo so the place was crammed, but it was just an arcade that had dance floor and booze.

I wanna do movie-night at the con. Like we can all go mystery-science 3000 on something live in person.

So alright, logistically to get this going. We should probably figure out a hotel (in Vegas) where we can get a handful of hotel rooms on the same floor? Or will we actually have enough people that we can afford a meeting room for a full day? I'll look around at the pricing for that kind of stuff.

I guess the second/con-current item would be to actually get a show of hands for who is 70% sure they are ready, willing and able to go to Vegas next summer on a specific weekend.
