Either going to be able to deal with leaving the house tomorrow/later today, in which case I'll go see some movies and eat some Chinese food, or I'm still gonna be in a super downward spiral and will probably alternate between drinking heavily, watching Breaking Bad, and crying over my dog.

At my in laws Christmas party right now. Tomorrow is my family get together. I would rather be playing forza 5, but oh well. These people are pretty cool.

my wife's family would be almost comically awful, except that they are real people and i have to deal with them. seriously every fucked up story about a person or a family you have heard in your life pales in comparison to these people. not an exaggeration, they are the most psychotically fucked-up people i have ever met in my life.

and somehow they managed to turn one dysfunctional family event this week into FOUR dysfunctional family events this week. WHY IS THIS MY LIFE

My Christmas celebration with my parents is also quickly turning into at least 4 this week, and we'll be out of town for two of those days. They are good people though. My husband loves spending the time with them, as do I, but I'm the one that gets visibly irritated with their airheaded tendencies. Don't have to see or talk to my in laws at all though.

This Christmas kind of sucked. I worked until about 3 today. Now I'm messing around as Halo Spartan Assault is downloading so I can play a game for my Xbone. At least my dog is being cuddly and not rambunctious so I'll play Gaylo tonight while he naps beside me

+ no family around to annoy me
+ local Chinese place was open, I feasted on lo mein earlier

- my dog continues to be dead and this really depresses me
- didn't really get anything but that doesn't really bother me
- tried to go see a movie but FUCKING EVERYBODY was there, so I turned around and came home. Fuck that, not dealing with that many people today. Might try to go at 10.

Finally got to play Cards Against Humanity with my brother, his wife, and two of his friends. Was tons of fun. Instantly bought the three expansions as well. Overall pretty good Christmas outing. My nieces are getting older so I can actually talk to them like people and interact with them and got some essential car stuff.

My cousins really like their WiiU. I got them Mario 3D World too, and played a bit; I've played it before, but was even more impressed by it today.

They're right in the age demographic for the system and had a blast.

Went to get some chinese with my mom and her boyfriend and knocked out around 6PM. Played Black Flag throughout the day.

Had a nice time with my wife's family. My daughter got to play with her cousins that she sees once or twice a year. She also really got into opening gifts.

Ate a ton of ham balls, drank some Nebraska craft beers and watched Christmas Vacation after the little ones went to bed.
