I think the Goo Goo Dolls don't get the credit they deserve.

I didn't realize until I went to GIS for some Johnny Rzeznik photos .. his face is oddly plasticine.

Nickleback and the GGD are godawful, but I would argue that Smash Mouth are the worst band of all time. I'd post a link for evidence, but if I did that I would be running a risk of being exposed to their music. They should be charged with crimes against humanity tbh.

Iris still gives me nostalgic feels. But growing up I thought the lyrics were deeper and more meaningful but the language barrier always kept me from fully appreciating them... turns out I was wrong.

Agreed. Since his venture into pop it hasn't been quite as good as it used to be but still pretty damn great.

Goo Goo Dolls pre-Iris were a different beast. They were alright. They've been making mom/anthem rock since.

Also Staind's first two albums were tight. I listened to them yesterday

I disagree. It seems like Smash Mouth knows deep down that they are shit, which is why their music is on Dreamworks cartoons and DTV movies where a monkey is a competitive skateboarder. Goo Goo Dolls, Nickelback, and Pearl Jam are shitty bands who are unaware of just how shitty they are.
