Dredd is actually a better film than The Raid after repeated viewings of the best-bits.

All films should actually be judged that way. Especially Riddick, because there were none. "Something something strong spine", and this was after a fairly portly Puddick clambered up a mountain, punching unconvincing CG lizards in the face.
