The best part that came out of this was learning that they even got a discount from the MLB for the last game or two and still couldn't make it work profit wise.

Baseball Stars 2 is the best but it's more like a game based on baseball than a baseball game...if that makes sense. The fun of older sports games is that you don't need to understand the sport. Sports games these days seem too technical (ignoring waggle and/or mario sports games) so I stick to tennis and baseball games. I think boxing games are dead :'(
