Nice on paper, but poors like myself won't be able to fully use it. I have to run Netflix on the lowest quality settings so it doesn't chew through my bandwidth.

I imagine that's how they'll keep PS+ rolling on PS4, you'll get selected PS1/2/3 streaming games each month to beef up the catalog.

Cheapest Sony TV is like 2x the price of a PS4.

depending on the cost it could be interesting, even with the inevitable lag and compression. probably naive to expect a cost comparable to video service subscriptions. and maybe throw PS+ people a bone by including select games every month.

is it stuck on sony products? I mean, is the end goal here to be the netflix for games, so play it on your daihatsu phone or vizio tv in a few years?

fortunately, everyone can experience the miracle of cloud streaming today for free at http://games.onlive.com/

it is pretty impressive how quickly a packet can be sent to their servers, processed and returned as a frame of video, but it's still awful for playing anything more challenging to control than final fantasy. especially when your memories of those games are from gloriously responsive tube TVs.
