The weirdest person I have on my FB is a hardcore Christian evangelical but also likes to post a lot of revealing pictures of herself, moreso now because she got fake tits. So it's funny to see a "Where is our country going?" in one entry and some DDs in a bikini all up in my face in the next entry. Not that I'm complaining about the latter but it is still kind of jarring.

Not going to post any snippets, but there's a dude who is clearly a closet pedo on my FB friends list. He seems to have toned this down quite a bit, but AFAIK he's never had a girlfriend and has to be like 35-36 by now. He used to send my messages on AIM years ago with pictures of young Japanese idol girls, saying "CAN YOU BELIEVE SHE'S ONLY 13?!?" until I quit using the program. Since I knew him in real life, from school, I didn't want to just block him. When he does this on FB, his relatives tend to just go "dude, STFU with that shit" and he stops. So I guess it's a known thing?

Sort of off-topic, does everyone here turn off chat on FB? I don't use FB all that much and find it so annoying when I check for updates and someone pops on to say something stupid.

My former neighbor is a bit odd I'd say - he'll post "LET'S GO RANGERS!" or "LET'S GO METS!" ad nauseum but will also post stuff about how awesome being an athiest is and how much of a moron you are for believing in Jesus (with meme pics from athiest-themed sites), comments on random celebrity FBs or random girl FBs with rude comments like "you're ugly". Also is a guido, anti-gay, and loves tribal house - funny since that's the most popular style of house with gay people (see: Junior Vasquez, Danny Tenaglia).

Weirdest: My mom's uncle is this hell raising, recovering alcoholic, octogenarian, tea-partier who doesn't seem to understand that his veteran benefits and social security, which are about all that is keeping him arguably solvent, are theoretically against his overall anti-nanny state stance. He's a card-carrying MENSA member, and proud of his intelligence, and laments that he lost some IQ points to a motorcycle accident where his helmet cut off the blood supply to his brain for several minutes. I enjoy having FB Messenger on my phone for keeping in touch with people, though I can't understand why it's not integrated into iOS' Messenger app, considering Facebook integration is solid throughout iOS otherwise.

In contrast, when I'm on the site itself, I don't like people chatting me up, but I usually just ignore them. BORITOS WHO CHAT ME UP: Don't take it personally when I don't respond immediately. Chat for me is more like slow-mo email.
