Wii version was better, although I guess it made it easier.

I'm actually a little disappointed its not more of a visual update looking at the video. More fun than the subsequent games by far though. I'd still buy this on one of the new consoles (or PC if mine was any good)

Capcom went back to the drawing board and used the team responsible for the RE5 PC port, which was really well done and the definitive version.

I have Jet Set Radio, FF8 on Steam. RE4 next. Just waiting for that Shenmue 1/2 HD.  Oh wait, I already have Shenmue 1/2 HD. It's called NullDC.

The island is the best area. Regenrators, knife fight, MIIIIIIIIKKKKKEEEEE, the best boss fights.

I liked all of the maps, even the Island. What Himu said, basically. It's where you encounter the creepiest fuckers in the game and then you have Oven Man. And all of the stuff with Krauser.

The island is classic RE with a new sheen. The tight, cramped hallways of the lab, the sound effects (holy shit  ), the oven man, fuck me in a bun it is perfection.

The escort stuff is fine. Ashley gets out of the way when you use your gun, you can ditch her in a trash bin when things get too hairy, and the game uses escorts in a smart manner. It feels like you're actual partners.
