Made in the US by a team from Japan. There are lots of westaboo sonic games courtesy of traveler's tales, and sonic x-treme though.

This isn't true. Depends on the era of Sega. Most Sega fans dropped them after Genesis in favor for psx. But you had plenty of Sega fans who moved to ps2 after DC. And a lot on Cube. Others on Xbox. It depends on the fan, really. The Sonic and PSO sluts went to Cube. The people who like Panzer and Shenmue and Jet Set and esoteric Sega went to Xbox. General Sega fans just went ps2 for Virtua Fighter 4 and Shinobi, or better yet, all three.

Sega fans weren't really westaboos, generally. Though Genesis and DC had a big sports demo the fan base was very diverse. Mascot Sega fans were totally different from the Panzer Dragoon or Virtual Cop Sega fan. Then there was the arcade Sega fan, something that died out in the late 90s.
