Anyone else playing this? It runs pretty terribly on my MacBook Pro and is extremely frustrating, but if you were a fan of the survival/PVP aspect of Minecraft you'll probably like this.

We talked about it on the last Cruncheons episode. I haven't played it, but Eel has. I've watched a bunch of videos, because I find the concept really interesting, but ultimately I think that, for me at least, survival crafting game and insane pvp sociopathy simulator are not two great tastes that will end up going great together, so to speak.

I liked Minecraft and haven't played DayZ.  Well, maybe "liked" is a bit strong: I appreciate what Minecraft is but can't dump eons of hours of my life into it like some people have.

Friend of mine already played this for 150 hours, seems like it's really addicting for people who are into this kind of game.

I play this game a lot, not so much recently cause i think the last 6 month's patches are HOT TRASH. Going to toll a modded server with rules i like (vanilla + blueprints and no twig shit)

You can now build twig inside another player's build radius making raiding child's play

I haven't played seriously in ages but I'd totally be down to group up. Also I have like 5 extra keys in my humble account lol

Fair warning, the community is more toxic than it's ever been D:

I'm playing on a noob server for a bit just to get used to it again

So I've dumped like 20 hours into this this week after this got bumped lol. I'm on a low-pop too (50-80 on average/250) but every one of my neighbors has gotten their doors blown off in the last couple days. My humble 2x3 has mercifully been overlooked though

I'm still subbed to the rust reddit and saw Helk posted a twitter poll asking if he should work on permanence instead of vehicles, which everyone voted in favor of, so hopefully that'll be coming soon. I'll probably take a break again until then and bump the topic whenever it's implemented, cuz I'd love to start a group. Soloplay is still pretty merciless, though I have actually been fortunate enough to run into some actually helpful folks on the server I'm on.

I miss this game but to be successful you can never log off and the redesign my silly Macbook Air probably can’t handle.
