Don't think this constitutes a new topic until more reviews break but the Swedish mag LEVEL gave the game a 7/10. They gave exceptional praise for the soundtrack but stated while the game is challenging it borders on being unfair at times, and the absence of the super guide means the game strictly appeals to a hardcore audience who presumably would rather play on a console that ain't the Wii U.

That puts Mario 64 in a good light. It was the first major collectathon though so i wouldnt call mario 64 "good".

Nothing about Mario 3D Land/World is trash... Hell even the NSMB Wii/U games were pretty damn good. The Galaxies and NSMB DS, NSMB2 were mediocre, and Sunshine was garbage though.

There's Galaxy-levels of inventiveness and cool shit in this trailer. Galaxy-level music too. Might be the best 2D platformer of the last 15 years.

We'll see. The trailer definitely shows a lot more inventiveness than Returns, which wasn't exactly lacking either.

I'd really like to play Returns but I can't play as Dixie so it makes excitement levels nill. She was always my fave. They have the opportunity to put all of of the past characters in a game, and they go with...Donkey and Diddy only? Just weird.

Returns' simplicity is one of its strongest points. Trixie is fun to play as but not playing the game cause she isn't in it is just

I'm nit boycotting the game. I'm going to get it because at least it has Diddy in it. I was never a big fan of Donkey because he's slow and pretty boring.
