My now brother in law mentioned it as the supposed 'secret cool version of gaf where everyone posts the exact same shit as they post at gaf' or something. Eventually came to feel/realize that the signal to noise ratio at gaf makes it so not worth bothering and lots of cool people from there that were sacked are here and most idiots aren't so I stuck around and suicided at gaf I don't know how long ago now. I had a tag there and everything, too. Might rereg sometime if I'm really bored.

Found this site through some people whispering about it a few years back when it was still evilbore. Didn't bother to create an account until last year when I started lurking here as often as I was on GAF.

I think I heard rumblings on NeoGAF about this so called "Evilbore"... thought it was just a cheesy nickname for Evilore, but then I did some Google searching and saw it was a splinter-forum with lots of the people I knew and loved (demi! Drinky! MAF! Triumph!) from the old days of GAF. This was sometime around late '07.

I'd heard about it a few times but never joined until like 08? BlackMage PM'd me one day on GAF telling me to join and he could message cloudwalking to get me in. Said I was a "cool dude..." Then he found out I was a chick and he wasn't getting any sexy male nudes, and he was never the same... poor guy.

I found the Bore while googling for butthurt breakdowns after some thread where a lot of dudes got banned after arguing with you. I found the butthurt at OPA and lulz here, as well as you heh. I'd known about OPA but it was too distinguished mentally-challenged for me to give a shit about but I ended up lurking here for some time before registering. Actually my first try didn't go through so I tried again some months later, and after posting here for some time my first account was approved too. Obviously I'm not using it, too bad nobody wants to buy Bore accounts.

That's because the people who come here as a result of that don't post outside of the gaf thread, or become inactive

Yeah, generally speaking if you're that upset about a GAF ban, you'll obviously either go back immediately once the ban is up, or if it's a perma, register another account and then go back once that's approved.

Real talk some of my favorite posters told me about this place, and I was like if they like it then I'll probably dig it. I mostly post here during the day, and GAF at night the way it works out. But this is a really nice alternative, and I could see this becoming my main forum eventually.
